Musician. He was a Romanian lăutar, manele singer, and musical artist of Romani descent. Born in Bucharest on 19 February 1968, he is best known for creating the internationally famous manele song "Made in Romania," along with his sons Florin and Ionuț. He debuted with his album "Amor, Amor" and later created many more along with fellow well-known manele artists, but most importantly, with his sons, who he made to become manele singers. Beyond his international hit, he was also known for songs "Plătesc pentru placerea mea," "Vine nasu bogatasu," and "Iubirea Mea," among many others. He passed from COVID-19 on 16 September 2021.
