Son of John and Mary Ann White and the husband of Charlotte Catherine White of Pinjarra, Western Australia. He died while defending the island of Crete against the German land and airborne invasion. He was 29 years of age. 2/11th Battalion, Australian Infantry, A.I.F. - Service No. WX6806
