Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders

Ronald served with the 1st Bn. The Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders. He was 21. His brother, Lance Corporal John Clark also died on service-he was 32 and served with the 2nd Bn. The Queen's Own Cameron Highlanders . He was killed a few weeks earlier on April 1st 1941. They were sons of Robert and Rachel Steveson Clark of Kirkcudbright, and the brothers are remembered on the family grave at Tongland, Kirkcudbrightshire.
