Opera Singer. A soprano, she is remembered for her career with the Oleg Danovski National Theatre of Constanta. Raised in the ancient port city of her birth, she studied locally at the School of Fine Arts Cuclin and after brief further training joined the Oleg Danovski Theatre in 2001, initially as a chorister, though by 2004 she had advanced to soloist and in 2006 was promoted to principal soloist. Over the coming years, Roxana was acclaimed in the principal roles of her repertoire, her assignments including at least three of Donizetti's ladies, Adina of "L'Elisir d'Amore", Norina in "Don Pasquale", and the tragic title lead of "Lucia di Lammermoor", and three of Mozart's, Pamina in "The Magic Flute", Konstanze of "The Abduction From the Seraglio", and Susanna from "The Marriage of Figaro", as well as the doomed Gilda of Verdi's "Rigoletto" and Rosina from Rossini's "The Barber of Saville".
