Singer, Musician. Sara Projkovska was a prominent Macedonian singer, pianist, and educator, known for her contributions both as a performer and as a professor at the Faculty of Music (FMU) in Skopje. Her career spanned collaborations with numerous prominent artists across the Balkans, including Martin Vučić, Toše Proeski, Sonja Tarčulovska, Trifun Kostovski, and Rebeka Jankovska Risteski. Projkovska gained widespread recognition as a backing vocalist for the hip-hop band DNK and was celebrated for her work on international stages. She notably performed as a backing vocalist for Karolina Gočeva at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2002 with Od Nas Zavisi and again in 2007 with Mojot Svet . Her expertise in the Eurovision community led her to serve as a jury member for North Macedonia in the 2015 edition of the contest. On the night of March 16, 2025, while performing as the lead female vocalist for DNK , Projkovska lost her life in a devastating fire at Club Pulse in Kočani, North Macedonia.
