Sead "Sejo" Pitić was a Bosnian-Herzegovinian singer, musician, interpreter and singer of the Bosnian folk song Sevdalinka. Sejo Pitić was born in Sarajevo on September 26, 1946. He was one of the best performers of sevdalinka, and in the 80s of the last century he became famous with the song "Topla zima, plava žena" by Mijat Božović. Sejo Pitić recorded and presented song "Topla zima, plava žena" at the Ilidža Festival in 1980. The song won the ninth place, and the single record sold a million copies. Sejo Pitić learned to perform traditional bosnian song "Sevdalinka" by following popular singers of his time and learning from them: Nada Mamula, Beba Selimović, Zehra Deović, Zaim Imamović. He also got his own place of honor in the "House of Sevdah (Kuća sevdaha)" in Sarajevo, where he performed for a long time. He died on June 30, 2023 in Sarajevo and was buried at the Ravne Bakije Cemetery in Sarajevo.
