Holy Roman Emperor. He reigned as King of Bohemia, Luxembourg and Hungaria, before becoming Emperor of the Holy Roman Empire. He was the son of King Charles IV of Bohemia, and Elizabeth of Pomerania. He was buried in Oradea’s Cathedral (Nagyvárad, or Várad) located in the county of Bihor, in Transylvania. There were also buried Ladislau I , Andrew II (later taken to Agria Abbey), Steven II, and Ladislau IV, Queen Beatrix (wife of Carol Robert of Anjou), and Sigismund’s wife, Queen Mary. The monastery and the royal tombs inside it were demolished by the Turks in the 17th century and they no longer exist.
