Age: 27 Royal Flying Corps Whilst on a reconnaissance flight into Bulgaria, with his navigator, Second Lieutenant Henry Matthews, they were shot down by a German pilot in the village of Smolari Buried with full military honours by the Germans Son of Lewis Meadows White and Elizabeth White, of Potter Heigham Vicarage, Great Yarmouth. Born at Horning Vicarage, Norfolk.
