Teodor Ciucã was born in 1939 in Miluani; he wrote an article on his hometown (Graiul Sãlajului, July 11, 2002). He served as a school principal and city councilor in Zalau in the 1990. He was married to a teacher and they had two children, Corina and Marius-Tudorel. The mayor of Zalau Iuliu Nosa (b. Miluani, 1956) was his nephew. My husband and I attended Ciuca's funeral on September 13, 2016.
