Driver Thomas Mulroy Service Number: 93523 Regiment & Unit/Ship: Royal Field Artillery, 22nd Div. Ammunition Col. Died 11 October 1916 Age 25 years old Son of James and Elizabeth Ann Mulroy, of 6, Church St., Chilton Lane, Ferryhill, Co. Durham. Thomas Mulroy (parents Jacobi Mulroy and Annae Applegarth Mulroy) was christened at St. Joseph, Patrick and Cuthbert's, Cornforth, Co Durham, on 10 May 1891. In the 1911 census Thomas was employed as a pony putter in a coal mine. Pony putter: Driver of a pony drawing a mine waggon See his memorial in CHILTON CEMETERY , Co Durham, UK, which states that he was killed in WWI at Salonika (Θεσσαλονίκη, Greece).
