Service No: 1955 Regiment/Service: Australian Infantry, A.I.F., 13th Bn. Son of Mrs Winifred Harries, 63 High Street, Fishguard. Emigrated to Australia in 1913 - worked as a farmer. Enlisted at Liverpool, New South Wales. Badly wounded at the Battle of the Nek on 9 August 1915. Hospital ship brought him back and he died of his wounds, age 22 years.
