Tobius Solomons

Private Tobias (or 'Tobius') Solomons was an English soldier of the British Army who died during the First World War. He was born in St George in the East, the son of Polish-born Hyman and Leah Solomons. At the time of the 1911 Census, Solomons was working as a waterproofer while living with his family at 22 Granton Street, Hightown. Aged 23, Solomons died on 8 June 1917 while serving on the Salonica Front with the 7th (Service) Battalion, The Royal Dublin Fusiliers.
