Actor Valeriu Dan Pavel, known as Puiu, was born in Bucharest, Romania, on August 24, 1971. His father, Col. (r.) Ioan Pavel , died in 2020. Valeriu was an exceptional Romanian actor with a rich career in both theater and film. He stood out for his versatility, portraying a variety of roles in comedies and dramas. He collaborated with renowned theaters in Romania, bringing to life characters from classical literature as well as contemporary works. He performed in "O scrisoare pierdută", "D'ale carnavalului", "Hamlet", "Trei surori", "Regele moare", "Livada de vișini", "Nunta lui Figaro", "Pescărușul" and many more. In addition to his theater work, he appeared in films and television productions, becoming a well-regarded name among the public. He became known as "Puiu" from his show on ETNO TV. He also acted in "Moromeții", "Un bulgăre humă", "E pericoloso sporgersi", "Puiu și Jul", "Moștenirea Oliviei", "Abisul", "Ho Ho Ho", "The Half Life of Timofey Berezin", "Occident", "Wednesday"
