Vilko was born on March 28, 1900 in Dakovo, Yugoslavia, to Yaakov and Minka Spitzer. He was married to Sarina Alfandari, and beloved father of Miriam. During the war, he lived in Zagreb, Croatia. He was deported to the Jasenovac Concentration Camp, where he was murdered on November 30, 1941.
