Serjeant 9930 William BOOTH of "B" Coy., 2nd Bn., Cheshire Regiment Killed in action Monday 15th April 1918, Serbia, age 20 Of: 6 Edward Street, Hyde, Cheshire Born: 1898, Newton, Hyde Parents: Lily Booth and Joe Booth of 88 Lawn Avenue, Pawtucket, Rhode Island, U.S.A. In 1911 Joe and Lily Booth were living at Hyde, Cheshire (now Greater Manchester), with their children, William, age 13, and Lily, age 11. It is not known whether Mr & Mrs Booth migrated to the USA before their son's death. Marital status: Single Occupation: Errand Boy He enlisted in: Hyde, Cheshire
