BURNETT William, Lance Corporal 18955. 12th Battalion, Cheshire Regiment. Died of wounds Salonika 29th October 1916, aged 32 years. Son of Frederick William and Esther Burnett of Ludborough, Lincs. Born Ludborough, Lincs and enlisted Crewe, Cheshire. Commemorated KARASOULI MILITARY CEMETERY. D.709. / Ludborough St Mary We regret to have to announce that Mr. and Mrs, F, Burnett, of this village, have received notice from the War Office of the death of their only son, Lance.-Corpl.
