Gunner Webster, aged 28, died while defending the island of Crete against the German land and airborne invasion on 29 May 1941. He was the son of William and Maisie Webster, of St. Kilda, Vic. He is commemorated on the Athens Memorial Face 10. (Photograph supplied by the Army's Soldier Career Management Agency. He is commemorated on the Roll of Honour in St Kilda Vic, also his name is located at panel 21 in the Commemorative Area at the Australian War Memorial. Son of William and Maisie Webster, of St. Kilda, Victoria, Australia.
