Discharged dead while serving on the Fleet Messenger RFA Pebble **** Former Liverpool FC player. William played for Liverpool Reserves during the 1909-1910 season. He was Commissioned to the RNR from Liverpool Scottish in The London Gazette, 27 April 1915, Issue: 29145, Page: 4062. Son of the late James Alexander and Eleanor Eliza Aldcroft, of Liverpool.
