14473 Private William Henry Price, was Killed in Action on the 4th.June 1917, Aged 21, while serving with the 7th.Battalion, The Royal Berkshire Regiment. Son of Matthew Henry & Nellie (d.4-2-1941) Price, of 13, later 37 Morgan's Rd., Melyncrythan, Neath, Glamorgan, Wales. The official Battalion entry for the 4th.June reported two other ranks Killed, William and 23955 Private Sidney Carlton Sayers, aged 21. They were buried next to each other in Janes Military Cemetery, a few miles to the north of Sarigol, exhumed and reburied, again side by side, in Sarigol sometime during 1921-22.
