In memoriam
William Paul Jacobs was born in Astoria, Queens, New York in 1928, by parents of Greek decent. After helping his parents with their restaurant business, Bill was determined in his studies and worked very hard to be successful. He attended Brooklyn Law School in the 1950's; then served in the United States Navy and became an Officer. After retiring as a U.S. Naval, Bill started his legal practice in Queens, New York. He was known as a great criminal attorney who never lost a case. In addition, Bill was elected to become a U.S. Marshall and served in this capacity for several years. He enjoyed relaxing by reading great war and mystery novels in his east end beach house in the summers and in his Manhattan apartment in the cold winter months. Bill is survived by his two sons, Paul William and Nicholas William, who were always by his side.
