Private 17910 10th Battalion, Devonshire Regiment. Killed instantly by the bursting of an exploding shell. Aged 26 years. Husband of Emily Taylor, (nee Greaves), 677, Oldham Road, Rochdale. Father of Kathleen (b.24.5.1911). Son of Abraham and Mary Robina. Brother of John Albert and Bertha. Enlisted at Rochdale, in May 1915. Previously employed as a spinner at Birch Mills, Rochdale
