Zeno Coste

In memoriam

Zeno Coste was a Romanian singer. From 1932 to 1935 he was first Tenor with the successful multinational Kardosch-Singers vocal quartett. He appeared in the first Romanian sound film, Ciuleandra, as well as in a number of other movies, and on numerous records both with the Kardosch singers and as a solo artist. In 1936, he was signed on to sing with the Meistersextett, the follow-up group of the Comedian Harmonists, and appeared on their most famous record: "Ich wollt' ich wär' ein Huhn" A detailed biography can be found here: https://kardosch-saenger.de/english/zeno-coste-biography
