In memoriam

He was born in 1921, in Tirana. He studied at the lyceum of Korça and Tirana. In 1939-40 he was expelled from all the schools of the Italian Empire, as a participant in the demonstrations against the Italian occupation. He later studied law. After the war, he worked in the Bashkimi newspaper . He was shot on February 26, 1951, without trial, under the pretext of the so-called incident at the Soviet embassy. One day after his death, on February 27, the Supreme Military Court sentenced him, with decision no. 64, as "participant in a terrorist organization, for entering the service of imperialist espionage, for propaganda against the government and for inciting war", with death, shooting, permanent loss of civil rights and confiscation of all movable and immovable property immovable.
