Vrzdenec Cemetery

Cerkev Svetega Kancijana, Vrzdenec Church of St. Cantziana is one of the most important art and historical objects in Slovenia. The main church nave was built in Romanesque style and later the Gothic-style presbytery with a bell tower was added in the 18th century. century. The interior has the oldest iconographic and painting depictions of the first quarter of the 14th century. The church is also richly equipped with frescoes dating from the 15th to the 16th centuries.
