Židovsko pokopališče v Dolgi Vasi*Jewish Cemetery
📍 Dolga Vas, Občina Lendava, Slovenia
In the Jewish cemetery in Dolga vas, Jews began to be buried after 1850, expanded in 1880, and then added to the mortuary. It is the only Jewish cemetery in Prekmurje that has remained intact. The tombstones facing Jerusalem feature typical Jewish names in Latin and Hebrew. The cemetery is well-kept and tidy, although the descendants of the Lendava Jews have been gone for a long time. Thus, there are not many pebbles that Jews place on graves instead of flowers and candles. (http://sinagoga.gml.si/zidovsko-pokopalisce-v-dolgi-vasi/)
