His Parents were William Baldock-Apps and Martha Elizabeth Hook. === Horace was a member of 4th battalion, The Rifle Brigade and was aboard the SS Princess Alberta enroute from Stavros to Mudros, Greece, when she struck a mine that had been laid by German U-Boat UC-23 and sank in Mudros Bay. 33 men aboard the ship drowned, including Horace. Four of his brothers also gave their lives in the service of their country in WW1. Charles George Herbert Edward Vincent Percy David William James Roberts
