Katherina (Hinger) Job was born to Michael & Haller Eva Magdalena Hinger in Moldova (Ukraine) originally part of Russia on October 25, 1861. Katherina married Ludwig Job in Russia in 1885 and they had 5 children born in Russia: Jacob Job Frederick Job Gottlieb Job John (Johann) Job Caroline Job Ludwig Job her husband came over to the United States just before Christmas in December of 1911 and made arrangements for his son Jacob Job to marry Eva (Mayer) Job on January 12, 1912 in Jamestown, North Dakota USA. Ludwig Job's intentions were to go back to Russia to bring is wife Katherina the rest of the Job family children over from Russia to the United States, but he was never heard from again due to the Communist revolution in Russia and it is believed that Ludwig either starved or froze to death as he tried to leave Russia during winter on foot in 1912.
